Summit Adult Day - Littleton, Colorado
Day Center for Seniors Opens in Littleton
The new Summit Adult Day and Wellness Center opened on August 29 in the Villager Square shopping area at Ken Caryl Avenue and Garrison Street in Littleton. On the previous Thursday evening, professionals who care for seniors had a first look at the wide variety of services available at the 6,000 sq. ft. facility. Summit Director Caroline Tysseland called the opening “a great success.” The community was invited in to see the Center on the 27th. The sparkling new Center offers day programs for seniors who live with family and need help throughout the day while their caregivers work or participate in other activities. Seniors benefit from the array of services Summit offers for their health, safety and enjoyment. In turn, the family gains peace of mind and respite, knowing that their loved one is in good hands. The Center’s owners are Liz and Tom Littleton and Eunice and Tom Kinrade, who each own other organizations that serve seniors. This is their first joint venture.
