The following are local events that offer sponsorship and participation opportunities to promote services and branding of coalition members and other groups. Note that the dates are the "dates" of the event and that many of these groups have earlier cutoff dates for participating or sponsorship opportunitites. Also note that sponsorship opportuntities may be sold out earlier than the published cutoff date.

Bessie’s Hope is sponsoring “Wall, Run and Roll” fundraiser; HOW: Runners may register and pay $25 online at www.bessieshope.org; Check-in at event; Or register and pay at event. Walkers and Wheelchair Participants obtain pledge forms online or by calling 303-830-9037. Raise or give a minimum of $25 for t-shirt and refreshments. Ask friends, families, associates to donate to Bessie’s Hope through you! Remember, the more your raise, the more you help us transform lives. All checks and cash must be turned in at the event check-in. Gather a team and carry your banner! WHY: Bessie’s Hope, formerly Rainbow Bridge, enhances the quality of life for nursing home/assisted living elders and brings generations together in mutually rewarding relationships by honoring the human spirit and creating life-enriching volunteer opportunities for youth, families, individuals, businesses and community organizations. Each year, a few thousand youth, many of them disadvantaged and “at-risk”, find meaning and purpose while bringing joy to a few thousand elders. American Council of the Blind of Colorado VIP Fair (Visually Impaired People’s Fair)

This FREE event to the public serves as a resource fair for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. There will be speakers, vendors, and organizations dealing with blindness, visual impairment, and low vision. There are also sponsorship opportunities for businesses. Second Annual South Denver Showcase of Retirement Communities

Four of the region's best retirement communities were selected to participate in this exciting event in Denver, on October 23. The second annual South Denver Showcase of Retirement Communities features an impressive showcase of senior living options which include four of the finest retirement options in Southern Denver including St. Andrews Village, Garden Plaza of Aurora, Harvard Square and the Cottages at Dayton Place. This fun event is free and open to the public. The public can stop by any of the Showcase communities, in any order, from 10-4 pm Saturday, October 23.
