  • The Northwest Chapter meets the 2nd Wednesday of the month in January, February, April, May, July, August, October and November.
  • In March, June, September and December the four Chapters come together in one large networking meeting and there is only one meeting per month in these months.

This is the monthly meeting for the Northwest Chapter of the Denver Senior Coalitions. Newcomers are welcome to attend a meeting and then are encouraged to join. If you have been attending and have not renewed your membership, please join through our online system or download an application and bring a check for dues to the meeting. About the Presentation: A crisis seems to be lurking around every corner, whether it relates to health, an accident or a family dispute. Whether the circumstances are minor or more serious it’s imperative that you take charge by embracing life challenges, both expected and unexpected, and incorporating the setback into moving forward. This presentation will provide encouragement and resources to help guide the audience for personal and professional growth.

This is the joint chapter meeting of the Denver Senior Coalitions where all 4 Chapters come together for one meeting. Joint meetings happen in March, June, and September with each Chapter taking a turn at organizing a joint meeting. June 2017 meeting is organized by the East Chapter. During the other months each Chapter has their own meeting on a specific day of the month.

About the Presentation: Gary Sobol will be speaking on what MS and Parkinson’s Disease are, what symptoms they exhibit and what can be done to help relief the symptoms
More about Gary Sobol: I was diagnosed with PD in 2008. I did consireable research and developed exercise to help reduce the symptoms. I founded the GZSPN® Parkinsons Network to help teach others. Today our classes are taught in 48 cities to 1,900 people. If you know someone with PD or MS, please spread the word and encourage them to get to our classes.

Our membership dues are based on a calendar year and run from January through December. Dues start at $75 One Person Membership, One Company, ONE Coalition for a year. We have multi-member and multi-coalition memberships.

JCAF

The Joint Coalition Assistance Fund (JCAF) receives monies that have been paid as dues to the chapters of the Denver Senior Coalitions. Members can fill out a JCAF Application recommending that a senior receive assistance.

About Northwest
Northwest Meetings are generally held the 2nd Wednesday of Jan, Feb, April, May, July, Aug, Oct and Nov from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at different locations around the northern Denver metro area. See location map for boundaries of the East, Northwest and Southwest Coalitions – Click Here

Joint Coalition Meetings are held March, June, September and December. Each of the Chapters is assigned a joint meeting to organize.  Meeting dates of the Joint Coalition meetings can vary.
