Bessie’s Hope Sponsorship Opportunities
Bessie’s Hope enhances the lives of nursing home/assisted-living residents and at-risk youth. Volunteers, of all ages, are trained and given communications tools, with which to have mutually rewarding interaction with all cognitive functioning levels, including advance Alzheimer’s Disease. Loneliness is replaced by volunteers eager to listen to the elders’ wonderful stories. An infinite ripple effect occurs when youth leave the rut of violence and turn toward a brighter future as compassionate adults.
Boomer & Beyond Senior Expo of Colorado Springs
The Boomer and Beyond Senior Expo of Colorado Springs is held in June. This is a free event for seniors with free parking at the World Arena. This event is brought to the community by the Seniors Resource Council of Colorado Springs.
Colorado Senior Law Day – Multiple Locations across the State
Colorado Senior Law Day brings together respected professionals to present informative seminars around the state for seniors, adult children, friends, and caregivers of seniors. It is Colorado’s only conference dedicated to providing legal and other relevant information specifically for our senior population. Colorado Senior Lobby
Colorado Senior Lobby is a non-profit, non-partisan, all volunteer organization, that speaks with a unified voice for all Coloradoans, particularly those who are 60 years of age and older. The Lobby focuses on issues and promotes beneficial legislation, while remaining strictly non-partisan and not supporting any specific political party or candidate. One of their larger events that needs sponsors is Senior Day at The Capitol which happens on a Wednesday towards the end of March or first week of April. They also have Legislative Briefings on Mondays, during the Colorado legislative session. People can come in person or call in.
Serving Douglas County, Colorado
At Neighbor Network, we ensure older people have access to the resources and services that help them stay independent. As Douglas County’s only nonprofit aging resource center, we provide information on aging issues, links to providers, and connections to resources. Our volunteers and staff offer transportation, companionship, home assistance, and other supportive services that keep quality of life up and cost of living down.

SAGE of the Rockies
Sponsor a Lunch & Learn! SAGE (Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders) of the Rockies offers support, activities, and events specifically for LGBT persons aged 50+. SAGE’s monthly Lunch & Learns are an opportunity for LGBT elders, friends and allies to hear a guest speaker discuss topics of interest that support healthy aging and well-being. Your sponsorship will be recognized in the SAGE of the Rockies e-newsletter and website.
