Health Insurance Open Enrollment Period Colorado

The next OPEN ENROLLMENT PERIOD to purchase health insurance coverage is from November 1, 2017 – January 12, 2018. Connect for Health Colorado® is the only place to apply for savings to help reduce your costs and get access to a statewide network of free, in-person assistance. We are currently in the Open Enrollment Period – the one window of time each year in which Coloradans applying for private health insurance are allowed to shop for a new plan, without a qualifying Life Change Event. To ensure your coverage starts January 1, 2018, be sure to buy your plan before December 15, 2017.

The December meeting is a joint holiday gathering for all Chapters of the Denver Senior Coalitions to come together and celebrate the holidays. This year the event is on December 5th which is Colorado Gives Day. At the meeting we are celebrating the recipients of our Joint Coalition Assistance Fund. We will give out the monetary awards and introduce the recipients at the meeting. Plan to attend and celebrate our members (like you), for without our members we would not be able to grow the Joint Coalition Assistance Fund and use it to make a difference in the lives of seniors.

Horizons Senior Resource Guide is excited to announce our new, free senior educational talks held around the Denver Metro area:
“Be Informed: A Talk on Local Senior Resources and Care Options”. The talks will cover senior care and housing options, local resources for seniors, and more. Attendees will also be able to ask questions about their specific situation during the question and answer section.
